As temperatures drop, people in the surrounding area start pulling out their winter clothes to provide warmth. But for many, they do not have the luxury of owning jackets and winter clothes. Verst Logistics and Master Provisions are partnering together with a goal to change that.
Since 1994 Master Provisions has been providing aid across the globe, with a recent effort to focus more on those in need in the local community. They currently receive clothing donations daily and were quickly running out of space to store them. This meant they would have to potentially seek outside storage space for these donations, which would be costly, given the state of the supply chain and lack of current warehousing inventory.
Verst has been a part of the local community for over 55 years and during that time has aided many local non-profits along the way. Led by a compassionate and charitable CEO, Paul Verst, the company was quick to step in and help, offering free space to store trailers full of donated clothes at their fulfillment facility in Hebron, KY. This has allowed Master Provisions the ability to serve more in need as the winter season approaches.
